ARE YOU READY?             IT'S NOT JUST A GAME!

Out theme for the 2008 Alto Frio Area Youth Camp is one every believer should understand and apply. Out theme verse is I Peter 3:15,"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have....". The book of Ecclesiastes, says there is a time for everything under the sun. We all need to be ready to give an answer to our faith and at this year's camp we will discover, renew, and be challenged to that word from the Lord. We are excited to have Scott Crenshaw as our Camp Pastor. Scott is an effective and energetic youth communicator who will have you and your youth at the edge of your seat with his humor and direct words of challenge and committment. We welcome back Michael John Clement and his band to lead us in worship. Michael John will lead us to the throne of God without hype but with sincere praise and worship to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I know that you have a lot of options for your youth these days, but I believe that AFAYC could be just what God wants for you and your youth group. God moves and speaks and He can do it anywhere, but we have seen and experienced the movement of God in this special place we call Alto Frio. We have an excellent staff at Alto Frio, some new facilities, an awesome staff assembled for this particular camp, and our leaders are as good as they come. P.S. We are bringing back the leadership training for those who are going to be juniors, seniors, or just graduated. They will be trained and put into service as part of our team to lead and serve the younger students. This will begin on Saturday July 5th at noon and only cost an extra $25.00. Let us know if  you have any youth ready for LEADERSHIP WEEKEND.
